Aaron Rodgers stakes going into Jets will be higher than they were for Tom Bradys move to the
Aaron Rodgers is currently making waves and is the most talked-about NFL athlete. The future Hall of Famer secured a massive trade to the New York Jets, and now all eyes are on him.
Rodgers created a massive legacy with the Green Bay Packers and even won a Super Bowl with them. He is expected to do the same with the Jets, and many believe the stakes are very high for the veteran QB.
NFL analyst Ric Bucher recently appeared on FS1 SPEAK and spoke about the Jets’ chances of succeeding under Rodgers. Although he believes the QB is proficient enough to handle the pressure, he believes Rodgers is under more pressure when comparing him with Tom Brady when he moved to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
“The stakes are higher when they were when Tom Brady moved to the Tampa Bay and it’s because just 2 years ago we were talking about Aaron Rodgers as MVP,” Ric Bucher stated on SPEAK. “We are not talking about a guy who gradually declined and we were like does he have enough to get it done. We’re thinking last year was just a blip in the radar, he’s not anywhere close to done.”
“The New York Jets have heard about the aura and legacy of Aaron Rodgers. He comes in there and doesn’t get it done, I think it will put a dent in the image of Aaron Rodgers.” Certainly, Rodgers is under lots of pressure after securing a move to New York. However, the Jets QB is confident that he can get it done and perform exceptionally with the Jets.

Aaron Rodgers under massive pressure to perform next season
The Jets have signed one of the best NFL QBs of this generation. Therefore, Aaron Rodgers must face the challenge and has no option but to perform next season.
With the whole world looking at him with a keen eye. The veteran quarterback will face pressure and expectations that were never levied on him before. Still, many NFL analysts believe that he’s still a great passer but has declined a lot in the past couple of seasons.
This is the first time Aaron Rodgers will be seen wearing a jersey that isn’t the Packers. With a massive legacy to his name, the back-to-back MVP winner will have to perform to keep it intact.
