Dale Earnhardt Jr. to run in Bristol Xfinity Series race thanks to JRMs longest-tenured partner
Two times Xfinity series champion and NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. will race in the 2023 Xfinity Series race at Bristol Motor speedway. Bristol will mark one of the two Xfinity Series races in No:88 JRM teams scheduled for Dale Jr., the other track is yet to be announced. This is the first time since 2017 that fans will witness Dale Jr in multiple Xfinity events a season.
He will drive the No:88 Junior Motorsports Chevy Camaro with Unilever as the primary sponsor. This will be one of seven races under the brand for JRM. Unilever will be Josh Barry’s No:7 team’s primary sponsor for six races in the 2023 season and is hoping for championship glory. Bass Pro Shops. Will partner Dale Jr’s second Xfinity race of the season.
Unilever is one of the longstanding partners of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and JRM. They have been associated with them since 2009. The 2023 season will mark their 4th season as primary sponsors. They have been featured in a JRM car at least once in the last 14 years, and last year, they visited the victory lane twice, thanks to Justin Allgaier.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kevin Harvick led NASCAR group purchases of CARS Tour
CARS Tour a regional late-model car racing series on asphalt tracks will be under an elite NASCAR owners’ group in the 2023 season. Dale Jr. joined forces with former rival Kevin Harvick and Jeff Burton alongside Trackhouse Racing owner Justin Marks to purchase and preserve the event’s legacy.
They aim “To bolster the health and longevity of the CARS Tour by providing proficiencies in brand management, business strategy, and partnership acquisition and retention,” according to a press release by the new owner’s group.
It always has been one of Dale Jr’s dreams to purchase a late-model team. He said in a press release, “This is a dream come true for me. I’m a huge fan of the CARS Tour and local short-track racing. The competition, the tracks, and the drivers are some of the best around,”.
Dale Jr. added, “These regional series are vital to the quality of racing you see at the top level. Jack (McNelly CARS Tour founder) has done a tremendous job establishing the CARS Tour as a preeminent series, and I’m thrilled to be part of its future,”.
