Firefighters working to clean up ammonia leak at FedEx Freight

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- — Firefighters were called out to the FedEx Freight building on Cloverdale after reports of an ammonia leak.

Boise Police closed down Cloverdale from Executive Drive to Franklin Road while investigators were on scene, but the road is back open.

No injuries have been reported. An employee told KBOI 2News that everyone is safe and is back working again.

Officials say crews will likely be on scene for a few hours cleaning up. A specialized part is required to stop the leak, and they don't have one at the facility, so one is being collected from out of state.
