Habitat for Humanity partners with Edge Brewing to launch flavored ale

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Habitat for Humanity is partnering with Edge Brewing to launch a new flavored ale, supporting affordable housing.

The ale, Hefeweizen for Humanity, is banana flavored, and it can be purchased at Edge Brewing's Boise locations.

“We are excited to be partnering with not only Edge Brewing, but the whole brewing community,” said Janessa Chastain, executive director. “Breweries that decide to tap Hefeweizen for Humanity can now feel good that they’re helping their community, too.”

Ten percent of each keg goes back to the community, and one dollar of each pint sold at Edge Brewing helps fund Habitat for Humanity.
