Jill Duggar Just Got Her Hair Done In a Salon FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!!

Much is denied to the children of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar during their ultra-strict upbringings.

Duggar kids aren’t allowed to engage in physical contact with the opposite sex or even to participate in social media for fear they might figure out some way to make out through the internet (we assume).

The list of interests they’re not allowed to pursue and rites of passage that remain forever off-limits to them is a long one, and Duggar girls are particularly restricted in their activities.

Which is probably why they start tossing the rules out the window as soon as they’re able to wriggle out from under Jim Bob’s thumb.

Sadly, that only happens after they get married, at which time, it’s their husbands who get to decide what’s best for them, not their father.

Fortunately, the men they marry tend to be slightly more progressive, which is how we end up with Jinger wearing pants and Jill getting her hair done in a salon.

Yes, you read that right.

Jill Duggar is a 28-year-old woman who has been on television most of her adult life, and yet, she has never had her hair done by a stylist at a salon.

So who had the honor of giving her her first professional salon experience?

Why none other than her sister’s sister-in-law, Danielle Seewald, who is apparently a stylist in the Little Rock area.

"Loved getting to have my hair trimmed and layered by @danielle.seewald," Jill captioned the pics of her results.

"BTW, this was my FIRST TIME having my hair washed and all at a salon! Great job girl!

"Check her out if you’re in the Little Rock area!"

A couple things worth mentioning here:

1. We seldom hear about Ben or the Seewald family much anymore.

Seems they’ve decided the spotlight isn’t worth it and have opted to keep a (relatively) low profile instead. Smart move.

2. We suppose Jill isn’t necessarily saying she’s never had her hair professionally styled — we’re not quite sure what she means by "washed and all."

It’s almost impossible to imagine that she never got a touch up from an on-set stylist during all her years as a reality TV star.

But it seems she’s indicating that this is the first time she’s gone to a local hair salon and done something for herself.

It’s a bit surprising, as Jill’s husband is a bit more "traditional" (read: ultra-far-right D-bag) then her sisters’ husbands.

In fact, Derick Dillard was fired from Counting On for bullying a transgender reality star on Twitter,

So is he finally lightening up and allowing his wife to live the life of a normal human being?

Probably not, but at least she’s taking baby steps in the right direction.
